The series Piano Recitals has been hosting the greatest pianists and presenting the most important composers for almost 60 years. The end of November 2019 will see another historical milestone for this series. One of the world’s most prominent pianists, Evgeny Kissin, will perform in one of the series concerts at Rudolfinum. His remarkable career spans almost forty years, yet this profound artist is not even 50 years old. He has been completely absorbed by piano playing since childhood and the piano responds to him with beautiful color and filigree dynamics. The outside world has rewarded Kissin’s passion, for example with three Grammy Awards. By the way, Evgeny Kissin is strongly linked to Prague, since in March 2017 he married a beautiful Armenian woman here. Two years later, he will link his Prague recital with Beethoven.
