Christmas without Ryba’s Czech Christmas Mass – ‘Rybovka’ would be like vanilla pastry without vanilla, carp without bones or a Christmas table without a candle. We all have our best, proven, guaranteed recipes for Christmas. Each of us adds our secret ingredient to the mixture. And thanks to that, these holidays have a special flavor and aroma in each family. And that was also our wish. To create a ‘Rybovka’ with a secret ingredient that would make our, and therefore your, musical holidays extraordinary. We wanted ‘Rybovka’ without sentiment, yet poetic. Hence the decision to combine the music of Jakub Jan Ryba with the magical world of the Lampion Theatre puppets and the director of magical stories, Matěj Forman. We believe that you will never forget Christmas with our ‘Rybovka’.
The performance takes place in cooperation with the Lampion Theatre and the Forman Brothers Theatre.
