Prague will hear the Turkish artist Fazil Say as a piano virtuoso, as well as a composer. Judging from the opus number, we can see that he is a prolific composer. And a successful one at that, as Pietari Inkinen knows well, as he and Fazil gave the Swiss premiere of his piece Nirvana Burning, composed for the Salzburg Festival in Bern. The Concerto Water is a challenge not only for the pianist, but also for all of the percussionists who will be the composer’s efficient partners in imitating the sound of water.
