The Czech vocal ensemble Cappella Mariana will have a musical conversation with the Belgian Goeyvaerts String Trio. The Cappella arises from the dawn of time, the Trio from its hot present, yet during this Lent evening we will all come to agree how similar the works of, for example, Renaissance masters Josquin Desprez or Johannes Ockeghem and contemporary composers Arvo Pärt and Martin Smolka are. What matters is the depth of the experience and the honest desire to convey it to another person!
