PRAGUE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
Tomáš BRAUNER | conductor
The music and life partners Sivan Silver and Gil Garburg have played in so many places: Carnegie Hall in New York, Musikverein in Vienna, Festspielhaus in Salzburg and the Berlin Philharmonie. In October they will perform for the first time in Prague, bringing a particularly interesting piece: Brahms’ Piano Quartet, which the excellent Austrian composer Richard Dünser arranged specially for this duo for four hands accompanied by strings. The strings then play a key role in the famous Allegretto from the Seventh Symphony by Ludwig van Beethoven. None other than the chief conductor Tomáš Brauner will care for this sublime music. Apropos, the same line-up will have delighted audiences a few days earlier in the time-honoured Laeiszhalle in Hamburg.
