Wallenstein Garden

Nine years ago, with the help of the Senate, the Prague Symphony renewed the tradition of concerts in the Waldstein Garden started by the conductor Smetáček. And what’s been heard and experienced within its walls in these few years! Eight beautiful sunlit evenings with classical and film music hits; audiences of all generations and nations singing and dancing; a mournful concert just for TV cameras; and an early evening heavily drenched in rain, where the most important dramaturg was the radar checking the clouds. Despite this, or perhaps because of this, we love to return to this magical place, for the Sala Terrena provides such a unique yet natural orchestral backdrop. And so, we will return again at the beginning of the 89th season, when the orchestra will once more be led by conductor and presenter Jan Kučera.

The concert is held in cooperation with the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic and under the auspices of Senator Jiří Drahoš.

Voluntary admission is payable at the door.
