Soprano Kateřina Kněžíková and harpist Kateřina Englichová, two of the Czech Republic's leading musicians, join forces for an intimate recital presented in conjunction with the National Gallery Prague's exhibition dedicated to Queen Anna Jagiellon. Their programme brings together music by Sylvie Bodorová, Alma Mahler and Benjamin Britten, whose A Birthday Hansel was composed as a musical gift for the Queen Mother.
At the beginning of the concert, you can look forward to a lecture about the painting Saint Christina Fish by Lucas Cranach the Elder (around 1520-22)
