ZELENKA – TRIO SONATAS

The bassoonist Sergio Azzolini, a Prague Spring laureate, and fan of early music – see his recordings of Jiránek’s music with Collegium Marianum, is a highly respected and revered figure in Prague. This time we shall hear a Czech Baroque composer, the great Jan Dismas Zelenka. Namely, a complete set of his Trio Sonatas - in September 2022 three of them, and in February 2023 the remaining three. Indeed, there is much to look forward to, as an exquisite line-up with stellar oboists will come to Prague to perform and will be complemented by exquisite Czech companions. Zelenka then will be complemented by Johann Sebastian Bach.
