Alena Hron & Alban Gerhardt

Internationally acclaimed cellist Alban Gerhardt returns to Prague to perform Dvořák's beloved Cello Concerto, one of the masterpieces of the Romantic repertoire. Conducted by Alena Hron, the programme continues with Poulenc's luminous Stabat Mater, one of the twentieth century's finest sacred choral works. Drawing on her extensive experience as a chorus director, Hron leads the Prague Philharmonic Choir, soprano Karolína Levková and the Prague Symphony Orchestra in Poulenc's in a performance of profound emotional depth.
