MASS FOR STS. SIMON AND JUDE

Soon after the day of the Saints Simon and Jude, on October 28th, we shall welcome the Prague ensemble Collegium Marianum with their artistic leader Jana Semerádová. Their program is truly custom made and will include the celebratory Mass for Saints Simon and Jude, composed either by Antonio Caldara, or Johann Georg Reinhardt. In either case, it survived in the choir of the Brno Church of Saints Leopold and Wenceslas, which like the Prague church belongs to the Brothers of Mercy order. The rest of the program is also linked to the beneficent activities of this Bohemian order. Not less beneficent is the voice of soprano Patricia Janečková.
