LUTE RECITAL

The lute is an instrument which, with its intimate and delicate sound, virtually adorns silence, the equivalent of a white canvas in painting. In silence, its sound and harmonies stand out best. The American lutenist Hopkinson Smith, a long-term collaborator of Jordi Savall, thanks to his musicality and masterful technique surpassed the established potential of this instrument. He is bringing to Prague the most beautiful Renaissance music from the golden period of old England.
