Singing, reciting and drawing with light are three pillars of a special concert concept by Martin Prokeš and Marek Šulc. The philosophy of the singing duo KCHUN is based on the second hexagram of the oldest Chinese book I-ťing – Book of Changes. The word KCHUN means Earth and Receiving. The interpreters work with this credo in the mutual harmony of two voices, in the fusion of two minds of longstanding colleagues and friends into one talk. In the Convent of St. Agnes, their voices and that of Vladimír Javorský will re-imagine the uneasy journey to Paradise, Dante Alighieri’s journey through Divine Comedy. Their guides will be not only Virgil and Beatrice, but also the drawings by Atila Vöröse, enlivened on the Convent walls by Rudolf Živec.
end of the concert at 8.50 p.m.
