The PSO comes under the administration of the City of Prague
The recording is of the entire programme of the opening concert: Dances from Galanta by Zoltán Kodály, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Clarinet Concerto and Ludwig van Beethoven's Symphony no. 8. The PSO was conducted by its principal conductor Jiří Kout and the soloist in the clarinet concerto was Jan Mach.
The other CD on the PSO label is a live recording of concerts held on the 23rd and 24th of February 2010 in the Smetana Hall of the Municipal Hall, both conducted by the PSO's principal conductor Jiří Kout. The recording offers Johannes Brahms' 3rd Symphony in F major and the 5th „Renaissance“ Symphony by Jaroslav Krček, which received its world premiere at these concerts.
