Apart from human voices, no other colour than that of silvery sparkling flutes and harps suits Christmas better. Hence the Christmas concert-meetings of the fine Czech harpist Kateřina Englichová and the Berlin Philharmonic's principal flutist, the charming Parisian Mathieu Dufour. After Daishin Kashimoto and Janne Saksala, another member of the dream orchestra performs as a guest in the FOK season. All this under the baton of the chief conductor Pietari Inkinen, who initiated this collaboration. Music by Mozart, alongside winter music by late Romantics Josef Suk and Alexander Glazunov will be played. Nobody can express frost, snow and ice in music more beautifully than this native from St. Petersburg.

The concert is being held under the auspices of H. E. Mrs. Helena Tuuri, Ambassador of Finland to the Czech Republic
