Saint Endellion was the goddaughter of King Arthur, and she devoted her life to God. Similarly, members of ‘her quartet’ devoted their life to chamber music, and have done so for over forty years, their first rehearsal having taken place on January 20, 1979. Forty years of wonderful searching and wandering between staple repertoire and new challenges. Exactly as reflected in their Prague concert programme. A Czech premiere of Evgeny Kissin’s Quartet will entice this world-renowned pianist and composer to our church as an honorary guest.
